Paul Kritsch

Pr. Kritsch and his wife Dorothy were married in 1970. The Lord has blessed them with 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 1973 where he earned his Masters of Divinity.

Pr. Paul Kritsch served three congregations before retiring in June, 2013:

Christ Lutheran Church, Aurora, Ontario, Canada, 1973-77; St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, Westport, Connecticut, 1977-1988; Redeemer Lutheran Church and School, Westfield, NJ, 1988-2013

He also served the larger church as circuit counselor numerous times, as a member of various district boards and committees, and most recently as 1st Vice President of the New Jersey District.

After retirement, he and his wife Dorothy started the Sunset Bay Bible Study in the community where they live. Out of the Bible study came the formation of Chapel of the Good  Shepherd Lutheran Church, the only Lutheran church in Union County, TN.

On March 19, 2017, Pastor Kritsch was installed as the congregation's first pastor by Dr. Roger Paavola, President of thje Mid-South District, LCMS.

 

Pr. Kritsch also serves as a coach with Transforming Churches Network "Seasons of Discovery."
