Our Beliefs
  • Chapel of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church belongs to the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
  • We are a conservative Christian church which bases our doctrines and practice on Scripture.
  • We believe that all the canonical books of the Bible are God's Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
  • We are evangelical Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is both man and God, the true Son of the Father, and the Savior of the world.
  • We believe that the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is God alone.
  • We believe that as Christ's disciples He sends us into the world to help make other disciples through our words and our actions.

Lutheran Christians can trace our roots back to Martin Luther and the Reformation which began in 1517. In reality, Lutherans are older than that, for we are part of the historical Christian church. We could rightly be called "evangelical catholics."
