Welcome
Chapel of the Good Shepherd is a member congregation of the Mid-South District, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We are Christ-centered and Bible based. You do not have to be Lutheran in order to visit. When you do you will be warmly welcomed by God's people.

Community Outreach
This past fall we gathered rolls of toilet paper which were given away at our booth at the Union County Christmas Charities in early December. Since toilet paper cannot be purchased using food stamps, each roll is a blessing. Our goal was 2,000 rolls. We were blessed to distribute 2171 rolls!
Currently we are gathering bars of soap and body wash which will be distributed through the monthly food distribution at Upper Room Ministries, New Tazewell.
Neighborhood Bible Study
The Neighborhood Bible Study is using an in-depth LifeLight study of First and Second Peter. We meet each Tuesday, 10:00-11:30 am. All our neighbors are invited. The cost is $13.00 for materials.
